The fit is absolutely perfect, and the fabric feels incredibly soft against the skin. You can really tell it’s made with attention to detail and comfortable yet stylish. I’ve already received compliments, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!
Every “sleeved” dress I tried had elastic puff cuffs that made me look like I was about to churn butter. These sleeves just fall to the elbow, light enough that I wasn’t cooking at an outdoor ceremony. For once I didn’t spend the day taking a cardigan on and off. The 14 fit exactly as the measurements said.
Gorgeous colour, and it moves beautifully. Honest review: it’s a lined synthetic, so standing in full sun at a 32-degree garden ceremony I was warm. Under the marquee it was fine, and it didn’t crease at all after sitting. Check the fabric on the page so you know what you’re getting. I’d buy it again for an evening or indoor event.
I usually avoid wrap styles because they cling to my middle by lunchtime. This one has a gathered waist that actually holds its shape, and the skirt drops away from there. I sat through a three-hour reception and never once tugged at it or wished I’d worn shapewear.
